Athletes.org Athlete & Parent Zoom: 5-for-5 Eligibility Update

The meeting will take place on Thursday, September 3rd at 7PM ET

Athletes.org is excited to welcome Diana Florence, one of the attorneys leading the legal fight around college athlete eligibility and the NCAA’s 5-for-5 eligibility rule, for a special conversation with college athletes and parents.

Diana will provide an inside look at the current eligibility landscape, including what is happening with 5-for-5, the latest developments in the Colorado eligibility case and other ongoing eligibility cases, and what athletes and families should know about their eligibility rights and options. She will also discuss how athletes can get involved and have their voices heard as these cases continue to develop.

Most importantly, this will be an opportunity for athletes and parents to ask Diana questions directly about eligibility, the ongoing legal challenges involving the NCAA, and what these developments could mean for athletes and their families.

Diana is an elite New York City-based attorney and one of a small number of lawyers nationwide who have successfully sued the NCAA. She has represented Division I football and basketball players and successfully secured preliminary injunctions granting athletes immediate eligibility. Her work in collegiate athletics grew out of her recognition of the similarities between college athletes and other workers who have historically been overlooked despite helping power multi-billion-dollar industries.

This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from one of the lawyers leading the charge on 5-for-5 and to better understand what is happening behind the scenes in the legal fight over college athlete eligibility.
